Gary, Ind., firm to sell Colorado casino.

Jul. 14--GARY, Ind. -- The Majestic Star Casino LLC has signed an agreement to sell its Black Hawk, Colo., casino to Legends Gaming, a company controlled by William McEnery.

McEnery was a founding partner Empress River Entertainment Corp., which landed the first riverboat gaming license in Hammond to operate Empress Casino, a venture which has changed hands twice since opening in 1996.

Empress sold its gaming venture in Hammond and Joliet, Ill., to Jack Binion, owner of Horseshoe Casino. As of July, Horseshoe's ownership transferred to Harrah's Entertainment Corp.
