Greenport, N.Y., cinema owner still buys tickets to movies.

Jul. 15--It was only two weeks ago that Josh Sapan took his 10-year-old son to the movies at the Village Cinema in Greenport, as he had so many times in the past.
The difference this time was that instead of simply being a patron, Sapan, one of the top executives at Cablevision, was now owner of the four-screen cinema.
"I still paid for the ticket," mused Sapan, 53, president of Rainbow Media Holdings, a Cablevision subsidiary.
Last month, Sapan bought the building on his own from Woodbury-based Theatre Property Associates, according to a deed filed with the Suffolk County clerk.
