Jul. 19--As she drives into Port Everglades, Gina Marie Devine points at some turquoise garbage containers and shouts, "Look, they're mine!"
Striding onto the dock, she approaches workers loading garbage into large dark green containers printed with "TGL," or The Garbage Lady, Devine's company, which specializes in cruise-ship waste management.
"You can just feel the heartbeat of this place," said the 38-year-old, Davie-based Devine, whose company swung to a profit last year with almost $1 million in revenue. "The garbage room excites me."
While environmentalists continue to slam cruise companies, the lines use such companies as Devine's and Waste...
