Few at Kmart in Lawton, Okla., worried by Martha Stewart's sentence.

Jul. 17--LAWTON, Okla. -- Kmart staff and customers here Friday showed little concern for the plight of Martha Stewart, sentenced to five months in jail and five months' house arrest.

At the Lawton Kmart, Earl Young, assistant store manager, said Martha Stewart name-brand merchandise has continued to show good sales regardless of her legal circumstances. Her merchandise is good quality that people prefer, he said.

Carol Blackstock, a part-time clerk, said that while she knew about Stewart's legal problems, it wouldn't keep her from using her products. "The customers I wait on feel the same way," she said.
