Dallas-based Boeing supplier to get bigger share of work for new aircraft.

Jul. 21--FARNBOROUGH, England -- Vought Aircraft Industries Inc. is getting a bigger piece of the next-generation 7E7 Dreamliner commercial jet.
"We're getting more work," Tom Risley, the chief executive and president of the Dallas-based aircraft manufacturer said at Farnborough International 2004, the international air show being held this week southwest of London.
Vought had announced previously that it would make about 26 percent of the airliner's structure with Italy's Alenia Aeronautica. The two companies will supply the horizontal tailplane and the center and aft fuselage sections to Boeing Co., the 7E7's designer and builder.
