Developer plans condominium complex for Las Vegas mixed-use development.

Jul. 21--Developers of the $200 million Manhattan condominium project on Las Vegas Boulevard South at Serene Avenue have entered escrow to purchase 48 acres about a mile away for another condo project.
Gemstone Development plans to build a midrise condominium complex with an estimated 1,500 residential units, restaurants and a small boutique hotel at South Pointe, a 200-acre master-planned development between Silverado Ranch Parkway and Cactus Avenue.
Coast Casinos and Station Casinos grabbed 55 acres and 50 acres, respectively, at South Pointe, and Eldorado Resorts has 40 acres for the Grand View time-share resort.
