Architect presents 'mix-and-match' waterfront plan for Mukilteo, Wash.

Jul. 21--A section of the Mukilteo waterfront where oil tanks once held World War II aviation fuel could someday support a ferry terminal, a bus and rail station, condos, shops, offices, a marina and parking facilities.

But how those buildings would coexist along the water is still up in the air.

Last week, Seattle architectural firm LMN Architects presented the Port of Everett staff and commissioners with four possible designs for how the facilities could share the 22-acre space.
