Laboratories' top-secret work to be halted due to loss of computer disks.

Jul. 26--Most top-secret work at the nation's Energy Department laboratories will come to a stop Monday, more fallout from Los Alamos Laboratory's loss of two classified computer disks.
Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham has ordered a nationwide halt of the use of portable computer devices that contain classified information at each of its sites, including Lawrence Livermore Laboratory.
The unprecedented move is the latest and most far-reaching response to the political firestorm surrounding Los Alamos' recent security blunders.
Abraham directed the entire DOE complex to start an inventory of all electronic classified media immediately...
