National campaign focuses on conduct code for casinos.

Jul. 31--The American Gaming Association has focused the seventh-annual Responsible Gaming Education Week, which begins Monday, on its proposed code of conduct for casino operators and and slot machine manufacturers set to go into effect Sept. 15.
Association President Frank Fahrenkopf said that his group's members already have integrated responsible gaming programs and initiatives into their gaming operations.
But he explained both Responsible Gaming Education Week and the deadline for the code of conduct being adopted create an added opportunity to teach employees and customers about the issue.
