New coaster at Allentown, Pa., amusement park expected to boost attendance.

Aug. 1--In his first year as general manager of Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, John Hildebrandt has been asked to work without his best pitch.
The former marketing executive for Cedar Fair, owner of Dorney Park, hasn't been allowed to publicize details of Hydra: The Revenge. That's a $13 million steel coaster that will open next year.
Hildebrandt's bosses at Cedar Fair will only allow him to point to the four bare and hilly acres in the South Whitehall Township amusement park where the wooden Hercules coaster stood until recently.
Coaster fans are excited about Hydra, which will the first major new ride at Dorney since 2001.
