BAE Systems wins Navy jet electronic-warfare contract for Hudson, N.H., plant.

Aug. 6--HUDSON, N.H. -- BAE Systems has received an $8 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide 25 communications jamming systems for the EA-6B Prowler aircraft.
The work will be performed at the BAE Information & Electronic Warfare Systems facility in Hudson, and will be completed in 2006.
The AN/USQ-113 system provides signal detection, analysis and identification and can jam or interrupt hostile communications signals. The jamming capability helps protect airborne and ground troops in tactical combat environments like Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
