Aug. 10--JVC Professional Products Co., Wayne, has appointed Kirk Hirota president and chief executive officer. He will oversee video creation and projection and surveillance products while overseeing all operational aspects. Hirota replaces the retiring Mike Yoshida, who will be returning to Japan after serving as president from 2001-04. While a newcomer to JVC Professional Products Co., Hirota has 20 years' experience with Victor Company of Japan, JVC's parent. Past positions included regional sales manager for consumer products, manager of business development, and product-planning manager.
