Disney names football Hall of Famer to direct planning for sports attractions.

Aug. 9--Reggie Williams broached the subject years ago when Disney was first launching into the sports business with the construction of a dual-purpose amateur and professional complex that today is one of the busiest in the country.

But Kellen Winslow had to stay in California with his two teenage sons. Now with both of them out of the house -- and one intending to start an NFL career of his own this fall -- the timing was better.

"Do you ever think about what it would have been like if you had come with us years ago?" Williams, vice president of Disney Sports Attractions, asked Winslow this summer.

Their dialogue was nearly a decade in the making...
