Miami-based medical supplies distributor donates $1 million to university.

Aug. 19--In a gift that mirrors their dedication to education, love of sports and devotion to South Florida, Jorge and Carlos de Cespedes -- owners of the Miami-based Pharmed Group -- will give $1 million to Florida International University's Athletic Department.

FIU's Golden Panther Arena will be renamed Pharmed Arena as a result of the donation, the largest in the Athletic Department's history.
