Bank of America has added 105 jobs, may cut 100 others in Connecticut.

Aug. 27--Bank of America didn't want to talk to Attorney General Richard Blumenthal about layoffs in Connecticut if he were going to disclose them publicly.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based bank apparently has backed off. Blumenthal on Thursday said he has learned from the bank that it could cut as many as 100 jobs in Connecticut.
But the bank also has added 105 new positions in Connecticut, which could be filled by employees who are losing their jobs. The bank told Blumenthal the new jobs wouldn't necessarily have corresponding pay or responsibilities.
Bank of America refused comment Thursday on the numbers or why it backed off on its provision...
