Milwaukee girls shopping for school clothes are skipping the skimpy stuff.

Aug. 30--After years of showing a lot of skin like their teen idols Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, teens this year want to cover up -- and parents like Barb Korkos could not be more relieved.

Korkos is glad her two teenage daughters are ditching the miniskirt craze for a more casual sense of style.

"Wearing short skirts and belly shirts sometimes sends the wrong message to boys. It's nice to see (girls) dressing for school instead," said Korkos, whose daughters are 13 and 16.
