Riverside County, Calif., housing market sizzles; some foresee slowdown.

Aug. 30--If the Inland Empire housing market were a Wall Street stock, every broker in the United States would be telling their clients to buy some shares.

The data on single-family home sales, whether the numbers come from DataQuick Information Systems in La Jolla, the Construction Industry Research Board in Burbank or an individual homebuilder, have all told essentially the same story for the past year: the Southern California housing market is red hot, and Riverside and San Bernardino counties are the hottest submarkets within that six-county region.
