Sep. 1--ASH PROPERTIES CHANGES COURSE WITH BAYMEADOWS JUNCTION: Now stripped to its steel skeleton, the former General Motors parts distribution center at Philips Highway and Baymeadows Road should be rebuilt as a shopping center by early summer 2005.
Jacksonville-based Ash Properties intends to start construction within 30 days to convert the 170,330-square-foot building into Baymeadows Junction, a multi-tenant center designed to include retail showrooms such as furniture retailers along with restaurants and other shops.
