Seattle digital-media firm says it has new auditor.

Sep. 1--Loudeye said yesterday in a regulatory filing that it has hired Moss Adams as its new auditor for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31. Its former auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers, said June 3 that it would resign at the end of August.

The Seattle digital-media company said in the filing that PricewaterhouseCoopers had advised it of two material weaknesses in Loudeye's internal controls over financial reporting.

In particular, the auditor said it had found "insufficiently skilled" employees, as well as too few of them, in Loudeye's accounting and reporting department, the filing said. It also said there was insufficient analysis and documentation of the use of...
