Founder of entrepreneurship program moves to Indiana University.

Sep. 1--Don Kuratko, who founded the entrepreneurship program at Ball State University and led it to nationwide recognition, will leave the school to take a similar position at Indiana University.
IU's Kelley School of Business announced Tuesday that Kuratko will become executive director of its Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He starts Jan. 1.
The move surprised administrators at Ball State, where the entrepreneurship program ranks higher in national magazine surveys than any other program on the Muncie campus. Ball State's president, provost and business dean met with Kuratko for two hours Tuesday afternoon to discuss his departure.
