Cessna Aircraft may announce new models at aviation association meeting.

Sep. 4--WICHITA, Kan. -- For the past two years, Cessna Aircraft has introduced new or upgraded aircraft at the National Business Aviation Association's annual convention.

This year may be no different.

With the 2004 NBAA show less than two months away, Cessna is contemplating an announcement of one or more new airplanes at the event.

A final decision has not been made, said company spokeswoman Jessica Myers.

Myers declined to give further details or say whether the planes under consideration would be brand-new models or derivatives of existing ones.
