GlaxoSmithKline faces US court action over anti-depressant.

Sep. 7--GlaxoSmithKline is facing the threat of UKpound 200m of copycat litigation in the US. American lawyers are using Eliot Spitzer's legal claim against the UK drugs giant as the cornerstone of a class action.

The suit has been filed by Paul Dahlberg, of Meshbesher & Spence, who is seeking compensation for 24 children and adolescents said to have been wrongly prescribed GSK's controversial anti-depressant Seroxat.

Many thousands more are expected to sign up with the law firm in the coming weeks.
