New Brunswick, N.J., toy-making plant to close; jobs to be outsourced to China.

Sep. 10--At least 200 workers in Middlesex County will lose their jobs by the end of November, according to the state Labor Department.

Pressman Toy Corp. will shut down its New Brunswick manufacturing plant, cutting 130 jobs by Nov. 30, James Pressman, president of the toy and game company, said yesterday.

"It's one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make," he said. "The truth is we probably should have done it three years ago. We tried to hold on, but it became a situation where it's a matter of survival."
