Lexmark recalls 40,000 laser printers.

Sep. 10--An electrical-shock hazard is prompting the recall of nearly 40,000 laser printers made by Lexmark International Inc. and sold in the United States.

The printers, also distributed by Dell Inc. and International Business Machines Corp., were sold between May and August for about $200 in-store and online, according to a statement by Lexmark and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Lexmark E232, E232t, E330, E332n and E332tn models are of particular concern, in addition to the Dell 1700 and 1700n as well as the IBM Infoprint 1412 and 1412n.
