Sep. 10--For members of the Paso Robles Vintners and Growers Association, there's no better way to educate consumers about the local wine region than to teach them.
That's the premise for the inaugural Paso Robles Wine University, a combination of classes, tours and tasting that takes place Sept. 18 and 19. The program -- which cost about $60,000 to $70,000 to put on -- includes courses in winemaking, viticulture, and food and wine pairing.
