Norfolk State University in Virginia turns away 480 students over tuition.

Sep. 14--NORFOLK, Va. -- Nearly 500 students won't return to class at Norfolk State University for failing to make arrangements for tuition payments, a university official said Monday.
"When your business is educating students, you don't want to lose enrollment," said Terricita E. Sass, the university's executive director for institutional research and enrollment management. "You don't want to turn students away. But making payment arrangements is a necessary part of education."
About 1,400 students were told two weeks ago that they could not return to classes until they paid their tuition balances from last year or made arrangements to pay this...
