U.S. company Lexmark unveils multifunction inkjet printers.

Sep. 16--TOKYO -- Major U.S. printer maker Lexmark International Inc. on Thursday took the wraps off three inkjet printers, including multifunction models featuring such capabilities as copying and scanning.
Lexmark Chairman Paul Curlander told a news conference the company recognizes the importance of the Japanese market for its business.
Lexmark apparently wants to boost its market share in Japan to more than 5 percent from the current 2 percent on the strength of relatively inexpensive multifunctional printers with the New Year card-printing season approaching.
