British Airways may face two-day strike at London's Heathrow airport.

Sep. 21--British Airways could be hit by a two-day strike at Heathrow only days after boss Rod Eddington publishes his plan to prevent a repeat performance of its August flight cancellation fiasco.

The threatened strike -- by refuelling staff who work for sub-contractor AFS -- is set for Friday and Saturday. AFS controls 40 percent of Heathrow's refuelling business and works for a number of airlines including BA.

A BA spokesman said it was too early to tell how many flights could be affected, stressing AFS is one of three potential fuel supply routes.

Last-minute talks between AFS and the Transport and General Workers" Union are scheduled for this morning.
