Sep. 23--Rescue plans for British Airways are expected to be unveiled today after being delayed by the airline's infamous red tape.
Chief executive Rod Eddington has produced the plans in response to last month's crisis when thousands of passengers were stranded following staffing problems and flight cancellations.
But BA's board, led by new chairman Martin Broughton, failed to approve the strategy last week despite holding an all-day meeting on Friday. Sources said there was "nothing sinister" in the delay, which they attributed to "bureaucracy."
