Owner of Tyngsboro, Mass., hobby shop celebrates 30 years.

Oct. 2--TYNGSBORO, Mass. -- Planes, trains and automobiles -- and, oh yes, camaraderie.

That's how Arthur Siegel has stayed in the fickle hobby-store business for 30 years.

"You don't find hobby shops with this breadth of inventory," said Chip Hemmingsen of Hollis, N.H., a customer since 1987. "It is always a good time here, and they are willing to help, talk and be talked to."

To celebrate his recent milestone, Siegel spent $15,000 to expand and move his store, Hobby Emporium, to a new 3,300-square-foot location, on the other side of the T.J. Maxx Plaza, where he has been since 1994.
