EEOC claims Glaxo laid off Pennsylvania worker due to her pregnancy.

Oct. 5--The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleged that GlaxoSmithKline P.L.C. improperly fired a temporary contract employee at its Conshohocken facility last year, three months after learning that the woman was pregnant.
In a lawsuit filed last week in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia, the EEOC said that Judith StaRomana, 25, of Pottstown, was working for Aerotek Scientific LLC, a temporary employment agency, when she was told she was being laid off by Glaxo because of her pregnancy.
Glaxo, which has a U.S. headquarters Philadelphia, didn't have an immediate comment.
