Developers plan to build 1-million-square-foot complex in Tracy, Calif.

Oct. 9--Trammell Crow Co., a leading commercial real estate broker and manager based in Dallas, has acquired 52 acres in east Tracy through a subsidiary to build more than 1 million square feet of distribution-center facilities in three phases.

Southern California Development and Investment Group bought the parcel from Southern California developer Hunsaker Investment Co., which had plans to build out the same amount of square footage several years ago but instead marketed the property after completing infrastructure improvements.
