Oct. 9--BANGOR, Maine -- Administrators of the area's largest health care system went head to head with community members concerned with the loss of local control at a contentious public meeting Thursday evening at the Bangor Public Library.
Corporators for Eastern Maine Healthcare and other community members aired their mistrust of pending changes in the governing structure of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, the corporate "super parent" looking to create a regional network of health care services.
