BAE Systems wins technical-support contract for F-16 fighter jet.

Oct. 13--NASHUA, N.H. -- The U.S. Air Force has awarded BAE Systems a contract to provide software, hardware, technical and support services for the F-16 fighter jet.
The contract is capped at $175 million, but BAE officials expect the Air Force to order roughly $10 million a year of support under the contract through 2009.
The Support Equipment Sustainment contract, announced Wednesday, allows the Air Force to quickly place orders for any of BAE's four F-16 products without going through a lengthy contracting cycle, said Bob Donahue, BAE Systems F-16 product line manager.
