Oct. 16--York Technical College was recently awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
The award is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, according to a release from York Tech.
This marks the eighth consecutive year the college's accounting department has received the recognition.
