Microsoft to teach information security at Tokyo high schools.

Oct. 19--TOKYO -- The Japanese unit of Microsoft Corp. said Tuesday it will teach high school students in Tokyo how to protect their computers from dangerous computer viruses.

Microsoft will organize a total of four two-hour computer courses on information security at three high schools in Tokyo from later this month through mid-November as part of efforts to cooperate with educational programs of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, company officials said.

Microsoft will send its employees to Tokyo Gakugei University Senior High school, Sumidagawa High School and Kaetsu Girls' Senior High School, the officials said.
