Oct. 20--SOMMELIER TO UNCORK WINE THAT HE MADE: Vineyard owners, computer programmers, venture capitalists and timber barons are making their own wine in Washington, so it was only a matter of time before a wine steward joined in, too.
After all, sommeliers spend so much time selecting wine for their wine list, stocking the wine cellar and advising customers on pairing wines with their meals that the only thing left for them is to actually make wine.
