Thailand's SB Furniture meets toxin-free standard.

Oct. 22--Following 200 million baht worth of production improvements, SB Furniture Industry Co is spending 80 million baht to publicise its achievement as the first Thai manufacturer to be certified for toxin-free products.
All of the company's furniture products now meet the European Standard Class 1 or E1 Standard for furniture. It means they will not cause any allergic symptoms or irritation to the eyes or respiratory system, said marketing director Tanyaruck Chawaldit.
The company yesterday began airing a TV commercial titled "Because We Care", to publicise the standard.
