Oct. 23--FAT CHANCE OF GETTING MONEY IN EL GORDO LOTTERY SCAM:
QUESTION: In June I got a letter telling me I'd won $750,000 in the Spanish El Gordo lottery. The letter said to contact my claims representative, Martin Perez, to claim my prize. Mr. Perez told me I first had to pay $1,800 in taxes. He asked for my bank-account number and copies of my driver's license and passport. I sent him all the requirements, but they still haven't deducted the $1,800. And now I'm worried I did the wrong ...
