Boston Red Sox ring up cash registers in Tampa, Fla., area.

Oct. 23--TAMPA, Fla. -- This might be New York Yankees country, but Boston Red Sox fans are snapping up caps and T-shirts to celebrate their team's American League pennant.
At a Lids cap store in the Tampa area, Red Sox Nation members gobbled up 80 to 100 Boston caps since Wednesday, when the Bean Town heroes whipped the Yankees, 10-3, to knock out the team that trains every spring in Tampa.
"We're selling the heck out of it," said Aaron Dunham, manager of the Lids store at the Westfield Shoppingtown Citrus Park mall.
Red Sox fans are also hungry for American League championship T-shirts, calling sporting good stores to see if they had the celebratory gear....
