Congressman to propose legislation for open space in Deer Valley, Utah.

Oct. 26--WASHINGTON -- Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, plans to introduce legislation in the next session of Congress to direct the Bureau of Land Management to sell Park City Municipal Corp. 108 acres of prime Deer Valley real estate to protect as open space.

Park City has been negotiating with the federal government for more than 30 years to get title to the Gambel Oak and White Acre parcels, which have remained undeveloped under a public land lease the city struck with the BLM in the early 1970s.
