Tacoma, Wash.-area bank Venture Financial posts biggest quarterly profit ever.

Oct. 23--Venture Bank's parent company achieved its largest quarterly profit in company history.
Officials from Venture Financial Group Inc. said Friday that third-quarter net income rose 16 percent to $2.19 million.
"We continue to experience strong loan growth which has helped us to have another outstanding quarter," said President Jon Jones.
"Our team is doing a great job of capitalizing on opportunities in our market."
Loan growth is up 12 percent for the year and 14 percent since Sept. 30, 2003, officials said.
Venture Bank operates 13 branches in Thurston, Pierce and Lewis counties.
