KB Toys may close 11 Connecticut stores after holidays.

Oct. 27--KB Toys Inc. said Tuesday it may close as many as 11 stores in Connecticut after the holidays as part of its ongoing efforts to emerge from bankruptcy protection.
KB, an 80-year-old toy retailer based in Pittsfield, Mass., said its stores in Bristol, Meriden, Willimantic, Danbury, Norwalk, Waterford and Fairfield will be closed by Jan. 31.
Another four stores -- in Manchester, Plainville, Milford and Greenwich -- may or may not be closed, depending on efforts to renegotiate lease terms with landlords, the company said.
