Mount Airy, N.C.-based Pike Electric gets new chief financial officer.

Oct. 27--Mark Castaneda has left Blue Rhino and joined Pike Electric Inc. as chief financial officer.
Castaneda, who was Blue Rhino's chief financial officer for seven years, said yesterday that he started working for Pike last week. Pike, based in Mount Airy, builds power lines and substations.
Castaneda said that his role at Winston-Salem's Blue Rhino changed after it was purchased by Ferrellgas Partners LP in April and was no longer a publicly held company. When the deal closed, he did not have investors and bankers to deal with and that was a big part of his job, he said.
