Oct. 28--Sourcecorp Inc. shares fell nearly 27 percent Wednesday after the Dallas company said it may lower its revenue and earnings from 2003 and the first half of this year.
The computer services firm delayed its third-quarter earnings report Wednesday, saying it is investigating the financial results of its information management division with the help of its board's audit committee.
Shares dropped $5.96 to $16.25.
Sourcecorp will examine whether it properly recognized revenue under Securities and Exchange Commission guidelines. The company said it may have recorded some revenue before it met the necessary contractual obligations.
