Montgomery, Ala., mall gets 2 new tenants, loses one.

Oct. 28--As the holiday shopping season cranks into gear, Montgomery Mall is taking two steps forward and one step back. The beleaguered shopping center soon will welcome two new retailers to its merchant mix. But first, one more store is set to depart.
At the same time, The Plaza at EastChase will continue its expansion on Montgomery's east side with the addition of another retailer.
Payless ShoeSource will close the doors of its Montgomery Mall location Saturday, Estrella Tolliver, the store's assistant manager, confirmed Wednesday.
