Thailand tourism agency honours eight recipients for excellence.

Oct. 29--The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) yesterday granted Thailand Tourism Awards 2004 for excellence in various categories to eight recipients: the Khao Hin Son Royal Development Study Centre, The Peninsula Bangkok, JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, Lampang River Lodge, Royal Cliff Beach Resort, Tour Doi travel agency, Educational Travel Centre Ltd, and the Phato Watershed Conservation and Management Unit in Chumphon.
The TAT said it would promote the recipients through its public relations and advertising campaigns as they helped to develop the tourism industry and conserve the culture and environment of Thailand.
