Competitive Dallas-area market doesn't scare 30-year grocery veteran.

Nov. 3--Ronald E. Johnson, Minyard Food Stores' new chief executive and a 30-year veteran of the grocery business, isn't intimidated by the prospect of taking on the industry's biggest players in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Call him a fearless leader, but don't ask him whether there's room in this fierce arena that includes Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Kroger Co., Albertsons Inc., Safeway Inc.'s Tom Thumb and a host of others.
