Bond deal will pave way for Jackson County, Ga., road projects.

Nov. 5--Jackson County officials have finally agreed on a $15.7 million bond package that will finance the construction of two access roads for a new $100 million Toyota-Denso air-compressor plant as well as other roads and industrial improvement projects throughout the county.
The bond issue -- approved last week by the Jackson County Industrial Development Authority -- has identified 14 projects, grouped in two phases.
The seven Group 1 projects are considered among the county's most urgent and include the two Toyota-Denso plant access road projects -- the widening of the pre-existing Valentine Industrial Parkway and the construction of Concord Road, a...
