Portable storage chain plans to open Boulder, Colo., site next year.

Nov. 10--A franchise deal between PODS Inc. and a Los Angeles-based investment firm will bring the fast-growing mobile storage container chain a location in Boulder by the end of next March.
The Boulder site eventually will occupy up to 50,000 square feet of warehouse space in the area and employ 12 people, a company official said.
PODS, short for Portable On Demand Storage, announced the franchising agreement Monday with Andell Holdings. Andell will own 49 locations in eight states. Each, including the one in Boulder, should open before the end of first quarter 2005. Other terms weren't disclosed.
